Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Pharmacist for Southside Regional Medical Center in Virginia. The Pharmacist will manage medication therapy, supervise staff, and ensure safe, cost-effective care while complying with regulations. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD (required)
• 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting (required)
• 1 year of leadership experience (preferred)
• Immunization Certified (preferred)
• Experience in field of pharmacy practice (required)

Responsibilities

• Process orders and provide medication review for safety and efficacy
• Oversee distribution and ensure timely medication availability
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel
• Identify, document and resolve adverse medication events
• Provide medication education and collaborate with healthcare providers and patients
