Children’s Mercy Kansas City is seeking a full-time Acute Care Cardiologist to join the Ward Family Heart Center. The successful candidate will join an established team of cardiology professionals providing inpatient care for infants, children and adolescents with congenital or acquired heart conditions.

Responsibilities include multidisciplinary rounds, collaboration with EP, imaging, transplant, and intradepartmental teams, with opportunities for teaching, research and quality improvement.

Formación

• MD or DO, Trainees in their final year of fellowship are welcome to apply
• Board Certification in Pediatrics
• Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatric Cardiology
• Experience and interest in pediatric Cardiology

Responsabilidades

• Primary responsibilities will center on clinical care within the core inpatient Acute Care Cardiac team, participating in multidisciplinary rounds. This dedicated team cares for infants and children with congenital, acquired, or complex cardiovascular conditions requiring intermediate level care. You will get the opportunity to work with sub‑specialty teams, cardiology dedicated APRNs, medical students, cardiology nursing, nutrition, PT/OT, pharmacy, social work, care management, and more.
