Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university-based OT program.
• Current or temporary License to practice Occupational Therapy by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners; current Basic Life Support certification.
• Position requires lifting up to 75–100 pounds, prolonged standing, frequent walking, stooping and squatting, and capable communication in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients, develops and initiates treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Documents findings, progress and instruction to patients and caregivers.
• Implements OT treatment programs and supervises staff when appropriate.
