Carolinas Medical Center, Atrium Health’s flagship Level I Trauma Center, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Acute Care Rehabilitation Team. You will evaluate and treat patients across trauma, neurology, oncology, and critical care, working with a multidisciplinary team to restore function and promote safe discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required.
• Applicable state license for OT required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct OT services in inpatient acute care seven days a week, including holidays.
• Develops and implements patient care plans to restore function and promote independence.
• Supervises OT Assistants, Rehab Technicians, volunteers and students.
• Communicates evaluation findings and progress to physicians and care teams.
• Documents evaluations, progress notes, discharge planning and charges.
