Job summary

MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient treatment under the supervision of a licensed OT. This 0.6 FTE, days shift role offers a collaborative environment focused on compassionate, high-quality rehabilitation.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to plan and adjust treatment, document progress, and support patients’ independence at home.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a COTA in Washington state.
• Minimum one year of experience in adult rehabilitative services preferred.
• Direct patient care and documentation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT treatment procedures and modalities to improve function.
• Consult with supervising OT before starting treatment and for plans.
• Notify supervising OT if plans must change.
• Recommend assistive devices to improve independence at home.
• Observe and record patient progress and report changes.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team for integrated care.
