Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support Acute Therapy South in Springfield, MO. You will work in a fast-paced inpatient setting, promoting mobility, independence and quality of life for patients across ICU and medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering rehabilitation services, communicating with the care team, and guiding patients and families through discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing mobility and independence for inpatients.
• Plan and implement rehabilitation services including counseling and orientation.
• Communicate care plans to the patient care team and coordinate discharge planning.
• Contribute to a mentorship program and collaborative team environment.
