Job summary

CoxHealth South Hospital in Springfield, MO is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in the acute medical setting across units such as ICU and medical-surgical floors. The OT will help patients achieve independence in activities of daily living, plan and implement prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation services, and participate in a rotation across units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Masters or Doctorate preferred.
• Active Missouri licensure for OT required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in the acute medical setting.
• Assist patients to reach independence in activities of daily living.
• Plan and implement prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation services including mobility and strength.
