Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist for a per diem/PRN role in Bellevue, WA. The OT will evaluate acute care patients and plan therapy, with 8-hour day shifts and a part-time 32-hour schedule.

Responsibilities include collaborating with care teams, implementing plans, documenting progress, and supervising OT students. WA-licensed OTR required; 1–2 years in rehab settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy and completion of six month field work experience.
• Licensed as OTR by the State of Washington, or meets licensure requirements and holds a temporary permit.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience as an OT in a rehabilitation facility or general hospital preferred; ability to evaluate independently and plan treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT evaluation and treatment upon physician referral for hospital and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with health-care team to identify and prioritize patient needs and develop coordinated plans.
• Implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and adapt activities to maximize progress.
• Record treatment plans and patient responses in the medical record per protocol.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement to monitor quality and implement improvements.
• Supervise OT students and volunteers as requested.
