Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months general experience in nursing-related work.
• Two years of post-high school coursework related to nursing care or health care.
• Completion of a short occupation-related training program in nursing.
• Ability to provide range of patient care and contribute to the nurse care plan.
• Ability to observe patients and refer deviations to supervisor promptly.
• Ability to use basic diagnostic/treatment equipment and assist with procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and health professionals.
