This role emphasizes outpatient care while the physician focuses on operative procedures, requiring strong clinical skills, teamwork, and the ability to manage pre- and post-operative care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• ACNP licensure in Texas and RNFA required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience strongly preferred.
• Comfort with outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding and OR assistance.
• Strong clinical skills, communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient vascular surgery patients (≥3 clinic days/week).
• Conduct pre- and post-operative care, follow-ups and new patient consults.
• Round on inpatients and assist in the OR.
• Collaborate with vascular surgeon and team for comprehensive care.
• Maintain documentation including treatment plans and notes.

Job Title: Vascular Surgery - OR & Outpatient (ACNP & RNFA)

Location: Fort Worth, TX - Baylor Scott & White Health

About the Role:

Baylor Scott & White Health - Fort Worth is seeking a skilled• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) with an RNFA• to join our Vascular Surgery team . This position offers a mix of outpatient clinic and OR responsibilities , with a heavier emphasis on outpatient care while the physician focuses on surgical procedures. This is an exciting opportunity for an APP looking to work in a dynamic, growing vascular practice .

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage outpatient vascular surgery patients (at least 3 clinic days per week)

• Conduct pre- and post-operative care , follow-ups, and new patient consults

• Round on inpatients and assist in the OR

• Collaborate closely with the vascular surgeon and team to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment plans, clinical notes, and patient education

Qualifications:

• ACNP licensure in Texas and RNFA

• 2+ years of relevant experience strongly preferred (vascular, surgical, or related specialty)

• Comfortable managing outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and assisting in the OR

• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and collaborative mindset

Schedule & Compensation:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

• Weekday and weekend rounding on rotation with another APP

• Additional pay provided for after-hours and weekend coverage

• Average patient census: 12
