Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lakeway is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Intensivist team for a nights-only schedule. This role offers autonomous practice with strong ICU physician collaboration and a manageable patient volume.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Texas NP license with ACNP certification, at least 2 years in acute or critical care, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team using the EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications

• Active Texas NP license with ACNP certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute or critical care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making ability.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute and critical care to ICU patients.
• Collaborate with ICU physicians and surgical teams.
• Work nights with autonomous practice in a high-collaboration ICU environment.

Position Overview

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lakeway is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Intensivist team. This is a night-shift only position with a highly manageable patient volume and strong ICU physician collaboration. The ideal candidate will thrive in an autonomous role and be committed to delivering high-quality critical care.

Position Highlights

• Nights-only schedule: 7 days on / 14 days off (7 PM – 7 AM)


• Manageable patient load in a supportive and collaborative ICU environment


• Work autonomously alongside a well-established team


• Utilizes EPIC EMR system
