Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing school or NP program.
• Two years of RN, advanced practice or NP clinical experience.
• Current Texas RN license and APRN license/credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis, treatment and consultation as part of a care team.
• Deliver patient education and preventative care counseling.
• Conduct physicals and order tests as appropriate.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with Nurse Practice Act and PA/PHI policies.
• Coordinate with interprofessional team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in rounds and maintain high standards of patient safety and care.
