Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Adherence to the credentialing requirements of Luminis Health as stated in the nursing bylaws.
• Where applicable, completion of a BSN is required within 5 years of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and identify learning needs; develop care plans.
• Implement and evaluate the plan of care; revise as needed.
• Administer medications, manage pain, and perform unit-specific skills.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Provide direct patient and family teaching and support.
• Participate in unit quality improvement and risk management activities.
