Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for direct patient care in the Acute Care units at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO. The role is full-time, onsite with a flex shift, and offers a pay range of $42.90–$66.50 per hour depending on experience.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN, RN licensure, NIHSS readiness, and BLS/CPR through the credentialing body. Relevant certifications and three years of related clinical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• State RN licensure required; relevant certification as determined at position level.
• 3 years of related clinical experience.
• NIHSS within 6 months.
• BLS/CPR certification required and valid through 60 days post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Acute Care units (Med-Surg) with high patient acuity.
• Demonstrate scope of practice and use nursing process to deliver care.
• Precept and mentor new staff and learners in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
