Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in applying the nursing process to client care and organizational processes to improve outcomes.
• Contributes to evaluating unit nursing productivity and staffing methodology; improves systems/workflow.
• Develops staffing plans, time schedules and monitors leave to ensure adequate patient care staffing.
• Performs delegated duties including evaluations, orientation, and disciplinary actions; supports performance improvement and patient safety.
• Supports a culture of safety and continuous improvement; coordinates coverage and reports to the Nurse Manager.
