Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join a Hospitalist team at Banner Del E Webb Medical Center and Banner Boswell Medical Center. The role includes cross-coverage, clinical management of patients, placing orders and lab follow-ups, assisting with admissions and responding to codes.

Experienced ACNPs or new grads with acute care RN background are welcome. Night shifts are 7pm–7am; DEA license and prescriptive authority are required.

Qualifications

• ACNP with current license and board certification preferred.
• DEA license and prescriptive authority required.
• Night-shift availability and willingness to work in a hospitalist setting.

Responsibilities

• Cross-cover call with hospitalist teams.
• Clinical management of inpatient acute care patients.
• Place orders and monitor labs; follow up on results.
• Assist with patient admissions and discharge planning.
• Respond to codes and emergencies as needed.
