Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) in Tucson, AZ, for a full-time on-site role focused on delivering high-quality care to patients with acute or complex health needs.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, manage treatment plans, order and interpret tests, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position emphasizes evidence-based practice, professional growth, and a resource-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with ACNP certification.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute care or a similar clinical setting preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute health issues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous clinical improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations for acute care patients.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Develop, implement, and monitor patient-specific care plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions as appropriate under state and organizational guidelines.
• Coordinate patient care among physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Participate in case management and discharge planning processes.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventative health strategies.
• Document all clinical encounters accurately and in a timely manner.
• Engage in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
