Kings County Hospital Center, part of NYC Health + Hospitals, seeks a Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Acute Care Neurology team. You will plan, coordinate, deliver, and manage comprehensive patient care in an acute-care setting, focusing on quality, safety, and patient experience.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, conducting assessments, ordering tests, and providing patient and family education.

Qualifications

• Active NYS NP license and RN licensure.
• Board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive medical and nursing care in an acute-care neurology setting.
• Plan, coordinate, deliver and manage patient care per policies and standards.
• Educate patients and families about health status, treatment and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to optimize outcomes.
