Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a PRN Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist II Acute to join our Huntersville acute care team. The role involves preparing patients and safely operating MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans across inpatient, ED, outpatient, and OR settings.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree, ARRT MR certification, and state licensure. Experience in MR is preferred, with 6-month hire certification timelines and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with ARRT MR certification preferred.
• Minimum MR experience is preferred (1+ year).
• Must be ARRT MR-RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire; state license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and safely operate MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in acute care.
• Work across inpatient, outpatient, ED and OR including trauma imaging or implants-related exams.
