AllHealth Network in Colorado Springs is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Acute Care Division to support a fast-paced clinical team. You will help manage medication workflows, coordinate with pharmacies, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering compassionate care to clients in crisis moments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nurses, providers, and behavioral health professionals, with a 24-hour per week schedule (Sat, Sun, Mon) and an hourly rate of $23–$25.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Colorado Medical Assistant Certification required.
• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience using electronic medical records.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; PC-based systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate prescription orders with community and outside pharmacies.
• Enter and process medication orders accurately.
• Clarify prescriptions with pharmacies and resolve medication concerns.
• Support medication refills, changes, and pickups as directed by providers.
• Track medication status and communicate updates to the clinical team.
• Escalate medication delays or barriers promptly.
• Maintain accurate medication-related documentation.
• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to clients.
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and behavioral health staff in acute care.
