Job summary

Confluence Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our team in Washington. This pool, as-needed position delivers care under the direction of a registered nurse and participates in the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.

Responsibilities include following the care plans, documenting accurately, administering medications and IVs when certified, and communicating effectively with patients, families and the health-care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN program or RN program.
• Current nursing license in WA.
• Completion of hospital orientation program.
• Must be CPR certified and recertify annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to acutely ill patients as part of a team under RN direction.
• Follow plans of care developed by the RN and contribute data.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and health team.
• Document medications, vital signs, and nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and IVs as certified.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and physicians.
