Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora - CO, seeks a Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in a full-time, days-shift role on-site.

Responsibilities include assessments, specimen collection, wound care, and assisting with activities of daily living while documenting patient status and responses. Requires graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program and active state licensure, with BLS/CPR valid through hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
• State licensure as an LPN or LVN.
• BLS/CPR through AHA or Red Cross with card in-hand before start date.
• BLS/CPR valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to patient assessment by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions.
