Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision on an onsite Days shift. The role includes data collection for RN assessments, wound care, and assisting with activities of daily living.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
• State licensure as an LPN or LVN.
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to patient assessment by collecting data for RN analysis.
• Performs plan of care interventions including specimen collection and wound care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and reactions to interventions.
