The 13-week, 40-hour per week role runs days on a 4-10s schedule (4 days per week, with occasional weekends). Epic and Pyxis experience are required to support medication management, safety reviews, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Current California Pharmacist License required.
• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy required.
• Epic experience required; Pyxis experience required.
• 1–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Pharmacy residency training preferred.
• Strong communication, judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail; HIPAA compliance mandatory.

Aufgaben

• Dispense and monitor medication therapy in an acute-care hospital setting.
• Perform sterile product compounding and IV admixtures.
• Provide drug information to physicians and nursing staff; intervene on regimens as needed.
• Monitor drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic levels; ensure appropriateness of therapy.
• Document drug protocols, including TPN, pharmacokinetics, and Heparin; maintain accurate medication records.
• Supervise pharmacy support personnel and manage inventory; participate in QA and compliance.
