Atrium Health Floyd is seeking an Exercise Specialist to support clinical staff in providing high-quality patient care. You will design and implement specialized exercise programs to improve cardiovascular function, body composition, and strength in acute care and rehab settings, under supervision as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient transfer, mobility, documentation, and collaboration with therapists, physicians, and the care team to tailor activities to age-specific

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in exercise science, exercise physiology or kinesiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized exercise programs to improve cardiovascular function, body composition and strength.
• Assist with transfer, ambulation and range of motion and supervise activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with therapists, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
