Job summary

NorthBay Health is seeking an Administrative Coordinator (RN) to coordinate administrative, clinical and ancillary activities for a shift within our hospital. You will act as a single point of contact for physicians and departments to facilitate patient admissions, transfers and overall care coordination.

The role requires an RN with acute care experience, supervisory skills, and strong communication. California licensure, BLS, and ACLS within six months are essential, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing.
• BSN preferred; BSN must be earned within four years of hire.
• Valid California RN license and current BLS; ACLS within six months.
• Minimum three years acute care hospital experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative, clinical and ancillary activities for a shift.
• Serve as the single contact for physicians, departments and management.
• Ensure timely patient placement, admissions, transfers and movement.
• Participate in performance improvement and infection control plans.
