Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Preferred one year as nurse’s aide.
• Licensure: Active Kentucky CNA license or one year experience as nurse’s aide; BLS provider or obtained within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs designated tasks for patients in acute care as assigned by Charge Nurse.
• May monitor vital signs and assist with basic patient care.
• Attends to patient comfort and communicates changes to the nurse in charge.
• Transports patients for admission, transfer and discharge.
• Documents intake/output and maintains a safe, clean patient environment.
