Job summary

Responsibilities include ensuring safe, effective and cost-efficient therapy, supervising technicians and collaborating with medical teams to improve patient results.

• Ability to assess indications, effectiveness, safety and adherence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical care and oversee patient medication therapy.
• Review orders for safety, formulary and therapeutic issues.
• Consult with medical staff on drug therapy problems and lab results.
• Provide education to patients and staff on medications and labs.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students and interns.
• Prepare sterile products and compounding as required.
