Job summary

ChristianaCare Cardiology Consultants in Elkton, Maryland is seeking a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its cardiovascular team at Cecil Campus Hospital. The APC will provide inpatient cardiovascular care in a community hospital setting in collaboration with the attending Cardiologist.

Key duties include cardiology consultations, follow-up care, documentation in the EMR, and participation in stress testing oversight, with no on-call or weekend

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or PA program completed.
• Board certification as Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Licensure as RN and NP/PA as required by MD boards.

Responsibilities

• Conducts cardiology consultations and manages inpatient and outpatient follow-up within a community hospital.
• Monitors and oversees stress testing; collaborates with multidisciplinary care team.
• Completes documentation in EMR and adheres to policies and safety standards.
