Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join the Joseph M. Still Burn Center multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.

You will work with burn, trauma, reconstructive, and critical care specialists to maximize mobility, function, and quality of life for patients recovering from burn injuries. Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist required.
• BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of employment is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and positioning programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and case management teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals and home programs.
• Document progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning.
