Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in a mental-health field acceptable.
• 3 years minimum experience with individuals with chronic/severe mental illness OR a mental-health degree.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intensive behavioral and mental-health needs.
• Implement behavior support and treatment plans; apply crisis-prevention and de-escalation techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and assist with daily living tasks and transportation.
• Accurately document services and health concerns using electronic systems.
• Monitor behavioral changes and communicate with supervisors during crises or safety situations.
• Support families, assist with appointments and medication administration tasks as allowed.
