Deep Relief in Austin, TX is seeking a licensed acupuncturist (LAc) for a results-driven clinic. Independent contractor role with 2–4 shifts per week, FT possibility if you also see massage clients. Focus on neuromuscular care, motor point acupuncture, and dry needling to rapidly reduce pain and restore function.

3–5+ years of clinical experience required; orthopedic/sports-based approaches preferred. Collaborate with massage therapists to provide integrated care and measurable outcomes.

PT Independent contractor 2-4 shifts per week more as you grow.

LMT/LAc-FT possibility if you are open to seeing massage clients as well.

Deep Relief is seeking a highly skilled, clinically-minded Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) with a strong focus in sports acupuncture, motor point therapy, and dry needling techniques.

This is not a spa-style acupuncture role.
We are a results-driven clinic focused on resolving pain, restoring function, and delivering measurable outcomes, fast.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Performing Traditional and motor point acupuncture as needed
• Identifying and treating neuromuscular dysfunction
• Eliciting local twitch responses (this matters here)
• Working with clients dealing with:
• Chronic pain
• Athletic injuries
• Neurological tension patterns
• Collaborating with massage therapists and other providers for integrated care

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) – required
• 3–5+ years clinical experience minimum
• Strong background in:
• Motor point acupuncture
• Dry needling techniques
• Orthopedic / sports-based treatment approaches
• Ability to confidently:
• Locate motor points
• Achieve and interpret twitch responses
• Excellent bedside manner + strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented and clinically precise
• Bonus if you enjoy educating clients and building long-term relationships
