About the role

Salternative Spa is seeking a skilled and passionate Licensed Acupuncturist to join our growing wellness team.

Set within our newly transformed luxury wellness spa, this role is ideal for a practitioner who combines clinical expertise with an exceptional approach to guest care. Our philosophy brings together modern wellness, restorative therapies, and elevated hospitality to create a highly personalized experience for every guest.

As our Acupuncturist, you will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with guests, develop individualized treatment plans, and establish acupuncture as an integral part of the Salternative Spa wellness experience.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver exceptional, personalized acupuncture treatments tailored to each guest’s needs and wellness goals.
• Conduct comprehensive consultations and assessments prior to treatment.
• Develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans and recommendations.
• Create a calm, comfortable, and elevated experience from consultation through aftercare.
• Educate guests on acupuncture and how it may complement their wider wellness routine.
• Maintain accurate, confidential treatment records and documentation.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, infection control, and guest safety.
• Maintain a beautifully presented, organized, and professional treatment environment.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with guests through attentive and compassionate care.
• Collaborate with our wider team of wellness and spa professionals to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Represent the standards, professionalism, and service philosophy of Salternative Spa.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited acupuncture program.
• All certifications and credentials required to practice acupuncture in Illinois.
• Previous professional acupuncture experience preferred.
• Excellent understanding of acupuncture techniques, treatment planning, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, polished, and professional approach to guest care.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical and service excellence.
