Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking an Acupuncturist to develop, implement, and coordinate acupuncture therapy for conditions such as addiction, stroke rehabilitation, musculoskeletal issues, and stress management. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to tailor treatment plans for seniors within ChenMed's patient-centered model.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in related field.
• Certifications from NCCAOM are required.
• Board certification in specialty is required.
• Licensed in state of practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and coordinates acupuncture therapy for cases such as addiction, stroke rehab, musculoskeletal issues, women’s issues, stress management, and digestive issues.
• Educates patients on lifestyle changes and coach them through exercises, stretches, meditation and Tai Chi referrals.
• Maintains clean needle technique and adheres to clinical hygiene rules.
• Prepares and discusses treatment plans with patients and documents progress notes.
• Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team including mental health, nurses, and therapists to tailor patient care.
• Builds relationships to provide an excellent patient experience and protect confidentiality.
• Performs ongoing professional development and follows license renewals.
