Job summary

Village Farms International Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida, is seeking a Technology Lead – Finance & HR to own Acumatica ERP finance modules and HRIS integrations, providing hands-on Tier-2/3 support and driving data quality, controls, and scalable operations.

You will partner with Finance, HR, Payroll and global technology teams, translate business requirements into user stories, lead UAT and go-live activities, and develop SOPs and training for finance and HR users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting ERP/financial systems in a corporate or manufacturing/regulatory environment.
• Hands-on experience with Acumatica ERP finance modules or comparable mid-market ERP platforms.
• Strong understanding of core accounting processes, period close, internal controls, and the system impacts of finance operations.
• Experience supporting HR or payroll-adjacent systems and understanding employee data lifecycle and data privacy expectations.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with Finance and HR leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional owner for Finance and HR-related enterprise application domains, including GL, AP/AR, cash management, fixed assets, cost accounting, budgeting inputs, and HR/people system integrations.
• Provide hands-on Tier-2/3 support for finance and HR systems: troubleshoot incidents, resolve data and configuration issues, and coordinate fixes with global teams and vendors.
• Support period-end close activities by ensuring system readiness, data accuracy, and timely issue resolution.
• Partner with HR leaders to support core people workflows enabled by technology (hire-to-pay, time/attendance, payroll inputs, benefits administration, employee master data).
