Job summary

Corewell Health’s inpatient nursing team on 7 Northwest in Troy is seeking an RN to deliver patient-centered care on an acuity-adaptable unit and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team across specialties.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, planning and evaluating care, and contributing to safe, high-quality outcomes for patients with cardiac, GI, neurological, and other complex conditions. Strong communication, safety focus and clinical judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required; BSN within 5 years preferred.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• American Heart Association BLS required; ACLS/NIHSS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient-family centered care.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Educate patients and families and document education in health record.
