Job summary

Chalmers and Kubeck is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, inspect, install, and test actuators at customer locations in Georgia. You will replace components per wiring diagrams and complete field service time worksheets for submission to the Field Service Coordinator.

On-the-job training will be provided for qualified applicants, with a preference for prior mechanical/electrical experience.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Travel is required for this position and may require 1–2 weeks away from home.
• Ability to receive and understand verbal and written technical instructions in English.
• Safely operate in an industrial setting with manufacturing conditions.
• Proficient in using overhead crane/hoist and various mechanical tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, install, and test actuators at specified locations.
• Install and/or replace components per wiring diagram.
• Complete field service time worksheets and submit to Field Service Coordinator/Shop Supervisor on completion.
• Applicants must have good mechanical aptitude.
• On-the-job training will be provided for qualified applicants; mechanical and electrical work history is preferred.
