Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies' Commercial Pricing Analytics department has an opening for an associate actuary, actuary I, or actuary II in large commercial account pricing. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics or related field.
• Four or more years of P&C actuarial experience with commercial pricing experience preferred.
• Business coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review pricing proposals for large commercial accounts and advise underwriters.
• Perform loss-sensitive pricing and collateral evaluation.
• Maintain and enhance large account pricing tools.
• Research pricing improvements and build multi-variate pricing models.
• Enhance business unit reporting by distilling key findings.
• Build tools to enhance business unit productivity and perform ad-hoc analyses.
