Job summary

Aon is seeking an Early Careers: Actuarial Specialist to join our Launch program in a hybrid U.S. environment. This role offers four distinct actuarial paths across Retirement Consulting, Health and Benefits, Risk, and Reinsurance, with training and client exposure from day one.

Applicants should be recent graduates around Spring 2025–Spring 2026, with a GPA of 3.0+ and actuarial exam progress. The posted salary range reflects our U.S. market for new actuaries and geographic variations.

Qualifications

• Applicants should graduate between Spring 2025 to Spring 2026 and have a GPA of 3.0 or above with a concentration in actuarial science, statistics or a related field. Preference is given to those who have passed at least one actuarial exam.

Responsibilities

• Crafting projections (both stochastic and deterministic) of long-term financial information for pension and other post-retirement benefit plans.
• Coordination of asset-liability analysis and other studies with investment consultants.
• Merger and acquisition "due diligence" and related activities.
• Design and costing of new retirement programs.
• Programming innovative pension administration systems.
• Pension benefit calculations for participants.
• Union negotiation support and analysis.
• Quantitative comparison of comprehensive employee benefit programs for groups of employers.
