Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is offering a twelve-week actuarial internship beginning in May/June 2027. The paid role pays $28.00 per hour and follows a hybrid schedule with in-office work three days per week for those within commuting distance of a Cambia office.

Remote participation may be considered for highly qualified candidates not within commuting distance. Eligibility includes residence in specified states and current enrollment through spring 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics or similar major; progressing toward at least one actuarial exam.
• Minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, statistical analysis; database creation/management.
• Experience with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Assist actuarial team with technical and analytical tasks to support division goals.
• Work with data and statistical tools to analyze trends and risks.
• Support ongoing actuarial projects and reporting efforts.
