Job summary

Pacific Life invites students to join its Summer 2027 Actuarial Internship in Charlotte, NC, a Fortune 500 financial services leader. You will work on diverse actuarial projects, learn through structured programs, and gain exposure to modeling, pricing, valuation, and risk management.

Applicants should be pursuing an undergrad in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Actuarial Science and expect to graduate between December 2027 and May/June 2028.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least 1 Society of Actuaries exam is required.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree majoring in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Actuarial Science.
• Ability to problem solve and demonstrate leadership.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Desire to gain more experience in the actuarial field.

Responsibilities

• Create dashboards to visualize data, Rider Analysis, Cash Flow Analysis.
• Create tools for efficiency.
• Participate in actuarial projects that support team and company goals.
