Job summary

Warrior Insurance Network is seeking an eager actuarial analysis intern to join their Product & Actuarial Analysis department in Chicago. This role offers hands-on experience with insurance terminology and a variety of projects.

The intern will assist in product development, actuarial studies, data preparation, and financial reporting, gaining exposure to lines such as Non-Standard Auto, Commercial Auto, and General Liability. The position is ideal for students or recent graduates.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Math/Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Great organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
SOA/CAS exams are a plus but not required.
Ability to work 40 hours a week; may work part-time during the school year.
U.S. work eligibility without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist with new product development including competitive rate comparisons and studies.
Create supporting exhibits and filings for Department of Insurance submissions.
Complete data preparation and reserve reviews on various lines of business.
Create and update monthly/quarterly financial reports.
