Your Role :

As an Actuarial Analyst IV, you will research and develop new methods for insurance rating. You will prepare and coordinate analyses of rate filings for submission to regulatory agencies and insurance bodies. Additionally, you will act as project leader for relatively complex projects.

  1. Analyze large datasets related to complex actuarial functions.
  2. Evaluate current rates based on historical loss experience, emerging risks, and market dynamics. Monitor pricing performance and adjust to achieve profitability targets.
  3. Develop and analyze new methodologies for insurance rating.
  4. Evaluate analytical work performed by others and make informed decisions and recommendations considering internal and external environments.
  5. Provide training to Actuarial Analysts.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills
  1. BA / BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field.
  2. At least 4 years of experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance pricing.
  3. Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams.
  4. Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, Radar, etc.
  5. Strong analytical and communication skills.
