The Role You Will Play
The Actuarial Engineering Manager will lead engineering teams, set technical direction, assign work and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of platform features and client solutions within actuarial systems.
In addition, the Manager will design and own end-to-end solutions across cloud, data, and application layers: for example, data ingestion, data stores, analytics/forecasting pipelines, APIs and dashboards, etc.
The Actuarial Engineering Manager will translate product and actuarial/financial requirements into architectural designs, development roadmaps, testing strategies, and deployment plans; act as the technical engineering lead during delivery.
This role is entrusted to drive stakeholder engagement: present technical designs and progress to senior stakeholders, coordinate with client teams, and translate technical tradeoffs into business decisions.

Background Profile
Proven leadership experience managing delivery teams and large IT/finance transformation projects (managing 9–20 resources or equivalent program responsibility).
Strong technical experience in designing enterprise architectures and delivering end-to-end cloud, data, and application solutions, with proven experience implementing data and analytics platforms.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures and full-stack solutions, with strong capability across frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React), backend platforms and languages (e.g., Python, .NET, Java, Node.js), APIs/microservices, containerization/orchestration and CI/CD pipelines.
Demonstrated experience creating development schedules, testing plans, and deployment strategies for production software.
Exceptional communication skills partnered with knowledge of and background in actuarial/financial workflows and regulatory considerations.
Advanced degree (MBA/MS) or certifications relevant to data engineering, cloud platforms, or program management.
