Baker Tilly is seeking an Actuarial Director - Property & Casualty Insurance to lead the actuarial function within the Risk Advisory practice. You will drive client engagements, growth, and cross‑practice collaboration, delivering senior actuarial guidance to insurance clients and executives.

The role emphasizes technical quality, leadership, and expanding Baker Tilly’s actuarial advisory services while partnering across disciplines to support client success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field required.
• FCAS designation required; an additional FSA designation is preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive actuarial experience in property & casualty.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the property and casualty actuarial function within the Risk Advisory practice.
• Advise client executives on actuarial, financial and insurance risks.
• Develop actuarial frameworks aligned with standards and IFRS 17.
• Provide senior-level consulting on complex actuarial matters including transaction advisory and due diligence.
• Produce high-quality actuarial analyses, executive summaries and reports.
• Drive business development and expand relationships with clients and prospects.
• Collaborate with Risk Advisory, assurance, tax and other capabilities to deliver integrated solutions.
