Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Affiliation with IAI, IFOA, CAS or SOA with 8+ actuarial examinations.
  • 46 years of experience in P&C ratemaking, pricing or regulatory filings.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain robust DataMarts for actuarial datasets including policy, claims, exposure and reinsurance data.
  • Develop and optimize ETL pipelines to integrate data from multiple source systems.
  • Perform independent research, analyse and present data to support actuarial and pricing initiatives.
  • Support the design and development of centralized Pricing Data Marts for scalable pricing analytics.
  • Define data structures, actuarial datasets and feature libraries used for modelling and pricing analysis.
  • Ensure data governance, documentation and reproducibility of datasets.
  • Support modernization of analytics through automation, improved analysis and data infrastructure.

Actuarial Consultant - Data Engineering - 4 to 7 Years - Remote


A leading global analytics and consulting organization is looking for an Actuarial Consultant to support the development of analytical frameworks that drive profitable growth across Property & Casualty insurance portfolios. The role combines actuarial expertise with data analysis to design, implement and maintain analytical frameworks, with a strong focus on pricing, regulatory filings and Pricing Data Mart development.


Location - Remote.

Responsibilities -

  1. Design, build and maintain robust DataMarts for actuarial datasets including policy, claims, exposure and reinsurance data.

Requirements -

  1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or a related discipline.
  2. Affiliation with IAI, IFOA, CAS or SOA with 8+ actuarial examinations.
  3. 46 years of experience in P&C ratemaking, pricing or regulatory filings.
  4. Strong understanding of insurance regulatory environments and filing requirements.
  5. Knowledge of General Insurance and P&C actuarial concepts is mandatory.
  6. Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems such as Snowflake, Databricks or AWS analytics tools.
  7. Advanced proficiency in Excel, VBA, SAS, SQL, R, Python or other relevant data analysis and modelling tools.
