Job summary

RiverStone International seeks an Actuarial Associate to support reserving, financial reporting, capital analysis, and strategic initiatives across U.S. insurance operations; collaborates with actuarial, finance, claims, reinsurance and underwriting teams to deliver insights for business decisions and risk management.

The role requires strong analytical and technical skills and ongoing progress toward actuarial credentials, with a proactive, collaborative approach and compliance with data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required or preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Progress toward actuarial credentials (CAS/SOA) preferred; partial progress also considered.

Responsibilities

• Support reserve analyses and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
• Assist with financial reporting, capital analysis, forecasting, and risk assessment.
• Conduct actuarial analyses and prepare supporting documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Participate in UAT for new portfolios, systems, and actuarial models.
• Support due diligence activities related to acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to regulatory, financial, and management reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with actuarial, finance, claims, underwriting, reinsurance and other partners.
• Maintain progress toward actuarial credentials and ongoing professional development.
