Job summary

American Fidelity Assurance Company is seeking a data-focused actuarial analyst to retrieve, calculate and report data for a range of actuarial purposes under supervision. You will process data, assess reasonableness and provide initial analyses to support internal requests and standard procedures.

The role also involves creating and modifying spreadsheets and small programs to manipulate data sets, reporting findings clearly and collaborating with teams to ensure accurate, timely deliverables.

Qualifications

Job description

- Retrieve, calculate and report data as required for various actuarial purposes. Under supervision, provide internal support by applying effective use of technology and working knowledge of company operational systems and data.
- Process data, determine reasonableness and provide initial analysis of the output. Provide periodic reports to fulfill internal data requests following standard procedures. Recognize anomalies in data.
- Create/modify spreadsheets and programs and provide technical support by effectively manipulating and analyzing data sets.

Technical Skills and Requirements

• - Proficiency with PC Windows-based software, including Microsoft Office applications
