What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Create exhibits and perform analyses under the supervision of Consultants or Principals
  2. Conduct data aggregation and manipulation for various projects
  3. Check reports and exhibits for accuracy to comply with internal guidelines
  4. Interact with clients to acquire and validate necessary data
  5. Assist with additional duties as directed by Consultants and Principals

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Completed Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, actuarial science, or a related field
  2. Two or more actuarial exams passed at the time of application
  3. Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience, including data aggregation and analysis using R, Python, SQL, etc.
  4. Demonstrated hands-on experience with Excel
  5. Intention to pursue credentials through the Casualty Actuarial Society

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Prior experience in property and casualty pricing and/or reserving
  2. Familiarity with business intelligence or visualization software (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
  3. Experience with predictive modeling techniques such as generalized linear models, claims models, and telematics
