Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) pricing experience.
  • Completion of 5 or more CAS exams preferred.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies for new insurance products.
  • Develop initial rate indications and evaluate rating plans for competitiveness and profitability.
  • Prepare actuarial support for regulatory filings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to inform pricing decisions.
  • Participate in market research and actuarial analysis to refine pricing models.

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance and risk management industry, is seeking a Actuarial Analyst to join their team. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will be part of the Pricing and Product Development department supporting the launch of new insurance products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Actuarial Analyst

Location:Columbus, Ohio or REMOTE

Pay Range:$90/hr

What's the Job?

  • Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies for new insurance products in Virginia.
  • Develop initial rate indications and evaluate rating plans to ensure competitive and profitable offerings.
  • Prepare actuarial support for regulatory filings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet market entry objectives.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to inform decision-making processes related to product pricing.
  • Participate in ongoing market research and actuarial analysis to refine pricing models and strategies.

What's Needed?
